Batesville’s junior varsity baseball team picked up a 11-1 win in five innings at Franklin County. The Bulldogs scored five runs in the top of the second and never looked back. Noah Weigel went 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs and a RBI. Damian Krekeler drove in three runs on a double. James Hughes, Brody Rudolf, Carson Hartley and Landon Grossman each hit a single. Cayden Drake recorded his second win on the mound, allowing no runs on one hit through four innings. He struck out eight and walked one.
