Batesville High School

The Batesville High School varsity soccer team posted a 9-0 win oveer visiting Connersville. Freshman Elia Wade started the night off scoring four minutes into the game off a cross from Addie Reding. A few minutes later, Sydney Britton made a half field leading pass that Reding ran onto. Reding scored another goal when Maddie Prewitt sent in a cross across the goal frame. A minute later, Hailee Weisenbach got on the board by taking a long, low shot, from outside of the 18-yard box and drilled the ball into the opposite side netting. Reding scored again off a slipped pass from Britton. Weisenbach got her second goal of the game and half on an assist by Wade. Shortly into the 2nd half, Reding scored again by making a back post run for an easy tap in off of a Wade low cross. Britton got her first goal of the season by receiving a pass from Wade, and took a shot from the top of the 18-yard box, which sailed up and over the keeper. Lilly Richardson scored another game ending goal, which was a forward volley from Weisenbach to which Richardson forward volleyed the ball into the back of the net.
