Batesville High School

The Batesville Bulldogs traveled to Lawrenceburg and posted a 3-0 win over the Tigers in boys soccer. Batesville struck early when Cohen Flannery played a long ball through the center that Trenton Taylor chased down before calmly finishing to give the Bulldogs a 1-0 lead. Batesville controlled possession and continued creating chances throughout the first half, according to coach Kyle Hunteman. Early in the second, Ronan Post capitalized on a Lawrenceburg foul outside the box, driving a long-range free kick over the keeper and into the side netting. With 3:10 remaining, Ryan McGuire struck a long shot that was deflected by the keeper, allowing RJ Sherman to follow up and finish into the open net.
