BHS varsity volleyball team wins in three at Connersville

The Batesville High School varsity volleyball team posted a 25-14, 25-20 and 25-23 win at Connersville. The Bulldogs set the tone early and did not look back. Katie Wilhelm recorded six service aces to lead the Bulldogs, while Madi Dierckman added three. Maddie Haskamp led a balanced attack at the net for the Bulldogs. Haskamp finished with 11 kills in 22 attempts. Brooke Wilhelm was second on the team with seven followed by Katie Wilhelm (6), Maggie Jelinek (6), Raegan Hixson (5) and Molly Gesell (5).
