Batesville High School

The Batesville girls varsity soccer team traveled to South Dearborn and left victorious. The Bulldogs won by a score of 5-0. Marley Denning started the night off by scoring off a corner sequence and placed the ball perfectly past the keeper. Sydney Britton then got on the board and scored from the top of the 18-yard box, after receiving a drop back pass from Hailee Weisenbach. To close out the half, Weisenbach receive a cross from Maddie Prewitt and buried the ball into the back of the net. I n the 2nd half, a foul was drawn on the side of the 18-yard box; Weisenbach stepped up to take the free kick and drilled it up and over the keeper's head for her second goal of the night. A few minutes later, a freshman connection happened when Elia Wade scored a header off of a Sydney Britton corner. GOALS: Hailee Weisenbach (2), Marley Denning, Sydney Britton and Elia Wade (1 each).
