Batesville High School

The Batesville varsity defeated Lawrenceburg by a score of 4-0. Four minutes into the game, senior Addie Reding received a pass from freshman Elia Wade and then placed the ball past the keeper and into the corner of the goal. Wade then got the team's second goal of the night by running onto a through ball, cut in front of a defender and then placed the ball into the corner of the net. Before the end of the half, Reding then got her second goal of the night. Sydney Britton sent a direct ball up to Reding, who headed the ball into space and then drilled in a shot from the 18-yard box. Britton was able to score the only goal in the second half by taking a deep shot from outside the corner of the 18-yard box. The goalie got a hand on it, but bobbled it down and the ball crossed over the line. The Bulldogs had a good defensive effoert with the line rotation of Nora Wiedeman, Savannah Pohlman, Emma Cheeks, Cora Miller, Kenzi Lacey and Bailey Feldmann.
