Batesville High School

The Batesville girls varsity soccer team posted a 4-0 win over Lawrenceburg. Four minutes into the game, senior Addie Reding received a pass from freshman Elia Wade and then placed the ball past the keeper and into the corner of the goal. Wade then got the team's second goal of the night, by running onto a through ball, cut in front of a defender and then placed the ball into the corner of the net. Before the end of the half, Addie Reding then got her second goal of the night. Sydney Britton, with the ball at her feet, right past the half field line, sent a direct ball up towards Reding, who headed the ball into space and then drilled in a shot from the 18-yard box. Sidney Britton was able to score the only goal in the second half, by taking a deep shot from outside the corner of the 18-yard box.
