Batesville High School

The Batesville boys soccer team traveled to Rushville High School and earned a 2-1 victory. Batesville took the lead at the 20:31 mark of the first half with a goal from Simon Berkemeier, assisted by Ronan Post. However, Rushville quickly responded by capitalizing on a mishandled Batesville pass to score and equalize the game. After the halftime break, the Bulldogs came out with increased intensity. Their efforts were rewarded at 33:51 in the second half when a free kick, settled by a chest from Berkemeier, was played to Ryan McGuire for a one-time shot that found the back of the net, securing the win.
